A MESSAGE TO OUR PATIENTS:
Updated 14th May 2020
At Lander Dental & Implant Clinic the health and wellbeing of our patients and colleagues is our top priority. The latest guidance from the Chief Dental Officer of England remains that we are not currently able to offer face to face appointments and therefore our practice building is closed – but we are still here for you. We want to reassure you that our team remain on hand to provide consultations on a telephone basis for any dental advice and guidance.
During this period of uncertainty, we understand that you may have concerns, questions or even a dental issue that you’re unsure whether it needs urgent attention or not. We want to allay any concerns and answer your questions, which is why we have developed some key information to help you and your families through this period of uncertainty. From general guidance on maintaining good oral health with effective brushing, to identifying a dental emergency, plus how we are dealing with cancellations, our articles section is here to answer your questions.
From how we’re dealing with cancellations, general advice on maintaining your oral health with correct brushing techniques, to how to identify a dental emergency – we are building and adding to this, so be sure to check back weekly for more useful articles shared by our parent company Portman Dental Care here.
We are sure that one key question you have is around what to expect when we welcome you back into practice. We have been working tirelessly on plans to ensure that the environment is safe for our patients, colleagues and clinicians. Full details will be shared over the coming weeks, it’s important to remember – our telephone lines are still open and we’re still here for you.

If you require emergency dental treatment to stabilise any urgent problems which are causing extreme pain, a risk of infection or swelling we will direct you to a Local Emergency Care Clinic where they are available. These are set up to treat emergency patients whilst dental practices restrictions are in place.
We understand this is an uncertain time and the situation is not ideal, but our dedicated team are still on hand to provide you with all the support and guidance we possibly can. Your care remains our top priority and we look forward to seeing you back in practice as soon as we can. We hope you and your family are safe and well.
